The Courtroom History
Our afternoon tea is served within the historical walls of our Courtroom Bar. Dating back to 1905, this stylish bar has been refurbished from the once old Tower Bridge Magistrates Court, where London’s toughest criminals were sentenced for their crimes. The room has now been stylishly decorated with the modern guest in mind, fitted with a 193 spheres chandelier, a marble-clad sunken bar beneath the judge’s original oak canopy and the remains of the original wood panelling. There are also quirky and curious touches in the stylish interior such as the mugshot pictures of ex-convicts framed across the walls.
